I am 55 years old, male of Filipino origin.  I was diagnosed RCC and surgery was done 3/8/07 – full removal on right kidney and 20% on left kidney. I am not on dialysis at present, taking medication Sutent 50 mg now on 26^th day of the second round ( 6/22/07). Here are some of the side effects that I have experience in the middle of the second round; blister on hand and foot, taste bud burning effect when acidic food intake, bloating, fatigue, turning yellowish skin, my hair and mustache turning white and thinner, dizziness, vomiting.  Prior to my dx on renal cancer, I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetic. Presently taking Toprol 50 mg for my BP and Zetia 10 mg for Cholesterol. Some of my medication that I took before was stopped per order of my oncologist, it might conflict my Sutent Medication.  I am a father of 5, my eldest is 27 years old and the youngest is 16 years old. My wife is a registered nurse and working in a local Hospital here in Juneau. I have a history of cancer, my father died of lung cancer, my mom and my two brothers has high blood and diabetic which contributed to their demise.  My Sutent medication is covered by my insurance 100%. I will update my situation on our posting as soon as there is/are changes.
